IPSAR was registered on 21.1.1985 as an autonomous institution under the Society Registration Act, 1860 at Cuttack (Orissa) vide Regd. No. 3580-476.Approval of AICTE, Govt. of India was obtained in 1993 for PGDIRPM (Post Graduate Diploma in Industrial Relations & Personnel Management) course and PGDBM(MBA) course in 1994 each of 2 years full-time duration. In management area IPSAR is a premier Management Institute operating in Eastern India maintaining high academic standard with the dedication of its Full-time/Part-time Faculties with best available infrastructure. Considering the inclination of the students to obtain an MBA Degree from the Utkal University, IPSAR had applied to AICTE for approval of MBA course in lieu of the existing PGDBM course which the AICTE of late have agreed on 14th June 2002 for introducing MBA programmed under Utkal University with 80 seats from the academic session 2002-2003. Indroduced MBA programme under BPUT from 2003-2004.
