PEDAGOGY
IPSAR maintains qualitative teaching, effective counseling and a high academic standard. For effective teaching IPSAR lays more emphasis on the expertise of qualified and experienced full time/ part time/ visiting faculties. Faculties provide an atmosphere where the students become better 'Problem Solvers' in any situation. The idea is to make the student independent and foster in them a sense of responsibility. Apart from general classes, doubt-clearing classes are conducted regularly. Each Theory class is of 45 minutes duration. The first 5 minutes of each class is the discussion of the previous subject, this is done to refresh the student's mind. Next 35 minutes is the class on current topic. Last 5 minutes is the summary question-answer session. To evaluate student's performance, subject wise tests, surprise tests, on-line tests are conducted. Before each semester Very Similar Tests (VST) are conducted to acquaint the students to University pattern of examination.. In the practical, student and computer ration is 1:1. In IPSAR student and faculty ratio is 6:1 where 8:1 is considered as best.
PROJECT REPORT
The project is intended to give the students an opportunity to sharpen their knowledge and skills, develop better appreciation of the practical problems of computers. In each semester practical examination the student has to submit sessional report on the Practical paper. The final project report (sixth semester) to be taken up after clearing all the five semesters. To prepare final Project Report the faculties provide necessary guidelines.
